I normally use Paint Shop Pro (normally version 9, but I'll use X4 if I absolutely have to--even though I don't care for it much) for 2D stuff. I'm trying to learn to cope with Photoshop Elements because I became a Photoshop brush addict somewhere along the way. I'm tired of using work-arounds to get them to work in PSP (PSP 9 has a brush size limit of 500 pixels and X4 has one--999 pixels--I believe). I'm tired of exporting the brushes as PNGs with a converter and colorizing them and using them as overlays or saving them as PSP tubes... Just doesn't give enough control, at times. So, I decided to give Photoshop Elements a try. It's been... interesting... There are some things i really like more about Paint Shop, to be honest. However, Element's brush size limit of 2500 pixels is a lote more reasonable. Here's my first pic where I did most of my painted postwork in Elements. Yes, it's supposed to kind of resemble a grade-schooler valentine...

Any way... I started a blog about my experiences with Photoshop Elements. I figured it might help me stay motivated learning the program to write about it.

Runtime Reconstruction and Happy Holidays
Hi, there.
Well, it's nearly the end of 2017. How exactly did that happen? Where the heck did the year go? As many may know, in January, the external drive that housed my runtime malfunctioned. Then, I found out my backup was unresponsive. Then, I found out this computer (running Windows 10 Home) can only read about one of every three backup cds and dvds. So, I've spent most of the year regathering what content I can, since getting new external drives in late spring (I think) *sigh* 2016 wasn't much better. In early 2016, the computer I had been using for a couple of years started acting up. It took me until August of 2016 to get ba

Retiring from making shared Poser hair fits
Hi,
I just thought I'd put a note here that I'm not going to be sharing any more hair fits for Poser. At first, I wasn't going to post this here because the announcement is already on the promo for my final hair fit pack (Cutie Pie Cap and Tuned In for A3) and my blogspot blog... But, well... I guess I'll go ahead.
Back on the 22nd, I posted a disclaimer due some anonymous e-mail nastiness regarding at least one of my hair fits. The message was sent through an anonymous remailer or something, so there's no communicating with whoever was dissatisfied with my freebies. The messages were poorly-written and didn't say which hair fits they we
Warning: Scam Targeting Poser Users
Yesterday I received an e-mail message claiming to be from Smith Micro with the subject Refund Request. Since I haven't purchased or registered software with them recently, I was suspicious. Upon opening the message, I noticed a few things: bad grammar, lack of my name and/or account details of some sort, and a cryptic looking link. This e-mail did not come from Smith Micro.
If you received the e-mail, you can contact them and report it. Extracting the full header information will be useful to them.
